Thanks for the review Tara!! Isn't Kelley great!! She is also my WC. My FI and I met w/ her last July when we did the site inspection at LC. It was so nice to actually meet her and she made my decision so easy because she was so great! So I'm really glad to hear she took care of every detail and more for you guys! Congrats!!

Ha, thanks! But I can't take credit. Kelley did that all for us. I sent her an idea of what I wanted and, bam, she made it happen

I really liked your chuppah too...those were shells hanging down right? do you know if those are the same ones Rachel used?
Yes they are shells hanging down. I have no idea if they were a previous brides or not, sorry! I asked if they had any shell or beads to hang, Kelley said yes, and then she hung them for us. Easy peasy!

Oh, Tara!!! What an amazing review - THANKS. Your wedding looked absolutely beautiful and amazing! Sounds like things went REALLY well for you smile159.gif smile29.gif YAYYY!!!!!

I'm also having mine on a Sunday so I am SOOO happy to hear you had such a great time! I'm sure the girls (and staff) there are much more relaxed since that's their only event of the day to take care of!

I also really loved your Chuppa & Cake! I'm definitely gonna "borrow" your chuppa wink.gif

Again - thanks so much for the detailed review. Your day sounded like it was filled with warmth, relaxation and then some tingling excitement - perfect!!!

Welcome home Mrs.!

I bet they were! So yay- I get to kinda contribute. I had asked them for shells but they didn't have any and couldn't get any for under $250. I bought these and I had to hack saw off some of the rod so it would fit in my suitcase.

I confess that I meant to bring them home though and forgot. Oh well- as long as they have a nice home for our future LC brides.

aww I had a BDW borrowed and I didn't even know it!!!

I would think these would be kind of like the traveling starfish - fragile. Maybe some day another BDW bride will have to hack saw some of the shell curtain off rolleyes.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
