Jodez  - I brought my 7 yr old son and my sister in law brought her 2 girls, age 8 and 10.  My son stayed with my parents the whole week we were there in their room.  You can see if your parents will atleast take your kids the night of your wedding?  If so then ask that your parents get a room with a king bed and a sofa bed.  This way when your kids come over for a sleep over that night, they can stay on the sofa bed.  My son slept on it all week and he didnt complain about it once.  Ask Lupita a week before you arrive to make sure your parents have the correct type of room to accomodate you.

Hope that helps!!

hey so just wondering for those who have been to sandos, I'm reading on the website that the "unlimited drinks" is only from 11 AM - 2 PM ?? Is there anywhere else in the resort that we can get drinks outsided that time frame without a special bracelet? or do you have access to everything other than the "adult only" section? Sorry about all my questions lol

The website says 11 AM to 2 AM not PM.  Im assuming the bars are closed during the other hours.

oh crap. thats what I meant to type was AM lol. I noticed In the caracol section of the resort the bar is open 24 hrs, so I guess what I'm asking is if your staying in the "playacar" section do you have access to the "caracol" section as well? The last time I was in mexico the resort we stayed at was 3 seperate resorts in one but we had access to all sections of the resort for food or drinks, would it work the same at sandos?

We are thinking about using Garden area to get married instead of the Beach, just because we don't really want to have people in bathing suites sitting right beside the wedding ceremony.  Has anyone gotten married in the Garden?  Is it more private than the beach, and also which restaurant would be the most private?

Thanks

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
