our date is next Saturday the 11th of July :-)

We are told that we are given a marriage certificate in Spanish but to make it legal in the US it costs $270 or we can have it done in the US. Those that have gotten married recently, did Sandos do it for you or did you have it done back in the states? If you had it done in the states, how much and where did you get it done?

Thx, Tommy and Laura

Hey ladies!! Just have to vent! I know some of you have been waiting for the 2010 rates to come in like me... Lupita had told me she "penciled" in my date (june 26, 2010) and told me to let her know as soon as we booked... so I booked the DAY AFTER the rates came in on the website... emailed her, and she replied with a forward that she sent to someone else who inquired about the same date as me... so now I have no clue if I lost my date or if I can beat this other couple to faxing in the confirmation of the date... now that I have booked my trip and family and friends are starting to book... I hope this can all be worked out! So stressful - hope no one else has a problem! sad.gif

Oh no! I'm so afraid of this happening as well. I have been dealing with Paola and I know she's already confused me with another bride once. We are waiting for our RSVPs until we book, so I'm hoping she still has the date for me, even though I don't have a confirmation number yet. Let us know how it turns out. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
