OK. I'm going to try & simplify this:

People involved:

Friends Eric, Chris & Vicki booking triple occupancy

Cousin/Friend Angela booking single

Vicki sent me an email yesterday saying that she has to cancel because of medical problems - disappointed...but fine - we knew there was a chance she was going to have to cancel when she booked. Bladder issues have been ongoing for ages.

Chris & Angela recently hooked up & became some what of a long distance item. Now Chris is moving into Angela's room which leaves Eric shit out of luck! Eric cannot afford to pay for single so now he cannot go.

I can't believe Chris is such as asshole!! I am so mad right now!! Eric is my closest friend out of two of them AND he was supposed to be my photographer!! wtf.gif am I supposed to do now?? This bites!!

I think I'm going to email Chris and tell him (probably in a nicer way) the way I feel. But then I don't want Angela to be pissed at me either.

I'm so mad right now!! shots.gif

I was about to say the same thing...if they are going to make Erik have to pay for a single room just because they want to share a room now...Erik should not feel like he cant go now so i would suggest talking to the two that are dating now (or whichever of the two you are most comfortable with) and let them know how Erik feels and that he doesnt want to go now...and let them know that they are to help him pay the difference since its their fault this is all happening....

This happened to us as well. Jeff and Jeremy were sharing a room. Jeremy got a gf in the process and ditched Jeff to room with gf. Jeff then couldn't afford to go. So, we mad dashed called friend steve that couldnt afford to go single so he went with Jeff problem solved......

Do you think there is someone else that is single that couldnt go because they couldn't afford it?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
