dress is in, and i hate it :-(

You still have some time. Definitely go somewhere where you can buy off the rack, visit sample sales, go to larger cities by you (it might be worth the trip), try nicolemiller.com, jcrew.com, or nicer dept stores that may carry wedding dresses (I'm thinking something like nordstrom.com)

Good luck.

I also loved this dress in the pictures! But then seeing it in person I hated it too. You probably could easily sell it on ebay.

I second (or 3rd or 4th, whatever number we're at) with the idea of David's. Although I know you are in Canada so that might not work.... I'm at a loss

i'm so sorry sweetie - that totally blows! but don't get down, you have plenty of time to find your perfect dress...just get out there and start trying them on. at each bridal shop i went to, they would have given me the option of buying the sample i tried on it i really wanted/needed it instead of ordering a new one and with a few month to go, there's plenty of time to alter any dress to work for you.

def post your dress for sale on the forum...looking at the pic online, i'd be interested in buying it just for my TTD session!

The picture looks beautiful! but I know what you mean. I was inlove with 3 pronovias gowns which photographed beautifully. But when it came to try them on they were super cheap looking (and feeling)....I guess that's what happens when you have great photographers. I'm sorry that this happened sad.gif I know 2 girls that got their dress in a hurry off the rack. Have you tried just goingt to the local bridal stores and seeing what they have available in the samples? You might be surprised at what you might find.

I wouldn't really recommend buying online unless you've tried on the dress already, but just incase you're looking for another site you might want to try this one: Bridal & Beyond - Toronto bridal dress, favours, invitations, and accessories retailer for Toronto wedding and Canadian wedding

Oh no!! I am sooo sorry!

I actually loved that dress too when I saw it online. When I tried it on; WOW did it look different on my body!!!

I agree with the other gals; post it on here, craigslist, preownedweddingdresses.com, ebay, etc...

I am sure that you can sell it; it is suck a beautiful dress!

As far as finding a dress; definetely try the department stores, Davids Bridal.. I am not sure what they have in Canada.

Hang in there.. you will find a dress on time!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
