uh oh, thinking about third set of bags

Recommended Posts

I saw bags, seagrass, today that I knew our guests would love. Problem is, I have already two other sets of OOT bags. The first, cloth bags, is too small for all our stuff and, even though I still like the second set, plastic, I think they might be too big.

I don't know what to do!!!!

Here are pictures of the bags that I already own.

The cloth ones are nice, they are a regular tote size. They are 11x12x2.5, with a zipper and mesh liner. I think I have around 30 or so of them.

The plastic ones are 12x18x3 and I have around 30 of them too.

They are both really nice!!

Just a thought...why don't you use all three!! One for your side, one for FI's side & then one for friends!

(That's the indecisiveness coming out in me!)

Edit:

I'm rethinking that now...I just remembered they are all different sizes. Like kids, you wouldn't want the in laws thinking they were getting less than your side (or vise versa!).

Yeah, I was thinking something like that, but I want things to be even. Initially, we were going to add parasols and towels to our bags, so that's why we bought the bigger ones. Then, we changed our mind, so now the plastic ones are too big. I definately don't want them to look empty.

The ones that I like are made out of seagrass, the only problem is, is that they have orange strapping, which isn't one of our colours. I emailed the seller to see if they have them in a different colour, but I haven't heard from them yet.

However, they do have a multicolour one, in our wedding colours, but I'm sitting on the fence about whether or not I think the "rainbow" looks tacky or not.

I think I might go for it. I won't tell Francis though, he got pissed off the last time that I changed my mind with the bags. LoL.

The only issue is, LoL I'm so indecisive, we have a lot of single men coming and they would not want to be seen with one of these bags. Do you think just a plain black tote bag?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
