This actually works?! I thought it only worked in movies! LOL...thanks for the tip!

Personally in my opinion, first class is not worth it for short flights. If you're flying accross the atlantic or pacific then it is totally worth it; you can enjoy all the amenities, relax, and be comfortable. I travel to Europe and Asia every year and it's worth it specially if you have the miles to get those FC seats. But if you can get 3 extra days for your HM, I would take that instead of FC. When my FI and I traveled to EU last year we used his miles to get FC and bought the tix 9 months in advance. I suggest you book your flights as early as possible.

I agree with most girls. I use to work for the airlines and 1st class on a short flight is NOT the same as on a 6-8hr flight. It's not worth the money or miles.

Unless you get a great deal at the gate!

I took my dress and my husband's suit along with 2 carry on's with me. My dress and his suit rode first class for our 2.5hr flight. I was jealous! lol Most flight attendants will accomadate your dress for you.

My opinion-Save your miles, money, and endulge yourself on first class another time!

Thanks girls! We did end up booking coach. Everything else is now adding up so fast that I'm glad we didn't spend the extra $300 each on first class. My main concern was always my dress, so I'm just hoping for a kind flight attendant to hang my dress in first class. I'll be jealous of my dress too, but I'm sure mostly I'll just be excited to be on my way to my wedding!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
