The resorts I wrote about are all inclusive and they really are great!

All three have fabulous food & beverage, great service and really nice public spaces!

You will enjoy your honeymoon at El Dorado Royale. The services and food for that resort is very good. The resort is too beautiful and it is a nice venue for enjoy the honeymoon. The staff and customer services is too good.

We just toured EDR about 2 weeks ago and liked it but decided to go with another resort because the beach didn't have any nice swimmable areas. The WC kept telling us that there were swimmable areas but never showed them to us.

Are most beaches in the Playa del Carmen area NOT swimmable? Or does it depend on the resort??

I havent heard of any of them either! We went to grand xcaret on a vacation last year and would not recommend that for a honeymoon although the resort was beautiful, it was more like a nightlife/party resort.  Are you set in honeymooning in Mexico or would consider some other places? We are still going back and fourth on where to get married and where to honeymoon at.  A cousin went to Sandals Whitehouse on her honeymoon and had a great time, and my fiance's cousin went to Beaches Turks and Caicos on their honeymoon and fell inlove with the resort! We still dont know where we should go either!
