Need STD help-Puerto Rico-Spanish Colonial???

Recommended Posts

I am at a complete loss trying to find the right STD card and am short on time! We are getting married at the San Juan Catherdral and the reception will be at the El Convento in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The architecture is Spanish Colonial. I am trying to find something that will fit. All the STD's seem to be tropical-with beaches and palm trees but I would like to find something that fits the architecture of Old San Juan. I know this is a stretch! Any ideashuh.gif Thanks!smile105.gif Here is a link to where we will be getting married-sorry I do not know how to attach photos yet!

How about using a picture of old San Juan streets showing the colorful, old doors and cobblestone streets? You should be able to find some pictures doing a google search. If not let me know. I have personal photos of such which I could post for your use.

Thank you both for replying! Those are great ideas but then what do I once I find the images? Print them out in color, take it to Kinko's and try to get it placed on a postcard? And then try to print the information for the wedding on the back? I would love to do that but not sure if this can work. Is that what you were suggesting? Thanks!

I think you could do many different things with it depending on what you wanted the final product to look like.

You could have them printed on cardstock with the wedding information directly on top of the image.

You could make the image the front of a postcard or even a folded card.

If you wanted to do magnets you could print the image on a magnet and type the information over the image again.

You could have the image printed on cardstock and use a vellum over it with the information. This would allow the image to come through the vellum while not distorting your information or the image and such.

I think the possibilities are numerous depending on how creative you want to get.
