Post here if you are getting married in Jamaica

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

We are getting married at the Caves Resort in Negril on June 13, 2009, and we are soooooo excited!!! This will be our 12th trip to Jamaica, so deciding to have a destination wedding there was a no-brainer. We have stayed at Couples Swept Away (which will be our honeymoon destination after a three night stay at the Caves for the wedding), Couples Sans Souci, Couples Ocho Rios, Grand Lido Negril, and others... We love the island-you can't go wrong with Jamaica! Best wishes to all Jamaican brides past, present and future. Having this forum seems like a great way to prepare for the big day!

Hey Jamaica Brides!

We're getting married in Ocho Rios on Nov. 23/09. Staying at the Riu Ocho Rios, but getting married off resort, at a private location.

We're using Tropical Weddings Jamaica, and Almarie has been amazing!

Hi everyone!

Location: Riu Ocho Rios

Wedding: June 11, 2009

in JA June 7 to June 14,

Honeymoon at Couples Swept Away from June 14-21!

We have been slowly getting things done. We still have a bunch to do but the most important stuff is booked. We are having our ceremony at the beach gazebo, dinner at the steak house, and the private poolside reception for dancing. I am looking into the difference of having an arch instead of doing it at the gazebo. We have 60 guests!! I would love to hear any suggestions and planning progress! Goodluck Brides!!

Julia

    • Hello all!! I'm planning to get married next week. I'm working in an MNC and I'm gonna marry my colleague who is in my company. It's been ten months since we have started our relationship. He used to support in all my difficulties and used to help me in my work. Always he used to tell me about my smile. He says that I have a very good smile and he loves it. Recently I lost my front tooth after an accident and it resulted in a bad look for me. He told me that I lost my beautiful smile. I was totally disappointed and thought of finding a solution. I heard about dental dentures and took an appointment at a clinic in Scarborough. Will dentures affect my speech? What was your experience of getting dentures?
    • Go for the third one. It is gorgeous and you will look stunning in that. I'm sure you will be noticed by other people. Go for it.
    • I would suggest the long one. You will look stunning in that. It is simple and elegant.
    • Both the gown are awesome and I'm sure you will look gorgeous in both. But I would suggest the first one. Go for it and Congratulations for your marriage.
    • Hello everyone,  I am still engaged, still not planning the big day, because we haven't chosen a date + we have some family stiff to do so I hope that this forum will help me a lot before the real craziness during the wedding planning period. Happy to be here
