Looking for a good photographer and reggae band... any ideas?
Thanks!
Welcome to the forum Michelle! My name is Leslie and I am getting married at Iberostar Rose Hall Grand in Dec. I already booked my photographer, Sungold. They do awesome work. Just google them and they will come up. They are a couple from Texas that now lives in Jamaica. I am still wondering about the reggae band, so let me know if you find any. :)

Hi Everyone,

I just paid my deposit. Yea! It's been a hard decision so far (FI is Australian and my family is on the east coast of the US so deciding on a spot was tough). But we picked Jamaica, and I am so excited about it!

Hi everyone! I added a few extras to my introduction. I'm super excited to be getting married in Jamaica. I chose it because I love the "No problem, mon" attitude! I've always wanted to get married on a beach somewhere because I'm such a beach and water person. My FI and I went to Jamaica last December to check out sites, and fell in love with the island!

JNJ116: If you don't want to get married in the sand, why not try one of the resorts in Negril on the cliffs. Rockhouse and The Caves are boutique hotels that are really quite nice, but not on the beach. (There are lots of hotels in the Negril Cliffs area that would be great if you're wanting to stay out of the sand, do a search on Trip Advisor to get lots of options.)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
