Has anyone booked/used Rashel Edwards for makeup? I follow her on Facebook and I think she does amazing work. I booked her and paid (we spoke via email and Facebook) but every time I ask her for an invoice she seems to forget to email it to me. I trust shes just busy as she does seem to be very reputable. Keep in mind my wedding is t until October 2014 lol

Any thoughts?

i booked her as well. she responded me within a day or two, and was really nice. i wonder if she is busy, i noticed with other vendors they may take a lil longer to reply (especially since we are so used to a quick response here in the US). but you are really far out as well. Mine is in december 2013. and if you paid i would def send another email asking for an invoice or even an email confirmation to say she received payment (that's what i asked for and she sent it to me).  you def need that.

Hi guys!

I have been on the site before just looking around until I noticed my wedding date is ONE YEAR away! I'm freaking out!

I'm a nursing student so my time is very limited and I feel like I don't know where to start.

I am not "officially" engaged (we've had a lot of deaths recently)  but I got the "go ahead" to start planning...

So my question is what is my first step??

Should a hire a travel agent first (it's gonna be a small wedding 10-20ppl) or locate a venue on my own?

I'm not not officially engaged so do I have to wait to send STD's out?

Thanks in advance for the help : ) And sorry for the freak out lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
