I know I just hope she doesn't charge an arm and a leg...I basically need her as my "PR Rep"...I'm doing alot of DIY but I need her expertise in finding a good caterer, baker and florists and to ensure that everything runs smoothly the day of. I'll keep you posted once I receive my proposal.

Since I've secured my venue I ask them for examples of the work they've done at the venue. This way I can see their style. And then I factor in their cost.

If your using a resort I would use their WC rather than use someone outside.

Well my FI and I booked Rosalina Torres I am THE WORST at making decisions, but when it came down to it, even after a few phone convos I felt we really meshed well. So far so good. I haven't decided on a hotel or cermony, reception venue yet b/c there is so much to choose from. Any suggrstions? My mom and I are going to PR in 2 weeks to scope out venues/hotels and i know rosalina is setting up some appointments for me.

I used Kay with EnhancEvents, she is simply an ANGEL. From the very first moment that we made contact I knew that my fiance (now husband) and I were in good hands. She was very responsive to all of our needs and made sure that the entire process was seamless from beginning to end. On our destination wedding weekend, Kay got a first hand look at our crazy families. Boy, did she have her hands full of the drama. We appreciated her ability to keep cool & keep ME calm during many moments where I thought I would burst out crying. I did not, and in turn our wedding was memorable and we could not thank her enough for being part of our special day. We would recommend her to EVERYONE!!!! If you want a Puerto Rico destination wedding planner, Kay is FOR YOU!!! Thanks Kay. xoxo Mel & Adrian

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
