Hi Julie

Crystal has contacted me about an email address I have for Yali - I will look that up now.

I have read a few of the emails between you and Crystal - they are really helpful. I will try and go back through them all so that I dont repeat the questions and you have to repeat yourself.

I get married on 8th April next year - 22 of us originally booked - now we are at 30!! 7 months to go until we fly out on April 1st! Just deciding what to do about a reception etc. Probably with this many of us a private one is best rather than booking a restaurant - but ANY advice is very much welcome!

Hi Crystal

I have checked my information (sorry it might not be so up to date as everyone elses)!

I have been advised the address ending tur.cu is out of date

Try dpto1.rrpp@ppesquero.co.cu

alternatively if no response send to

jefe.ventas@ppesquero.co.cu and ask to be forwarded onto Yali for you.

How are your plans coming along - let me know how this works out for you

Hi - a nervous bride to be - any advice please!

Yaly has just emailed me to say that the date we have been advised is our wedding date is full (April 8th 2011) and that as April is her busiest month she will have a look as to what availability they have between our flight dates!!!!!

Has anyone come across this before?

I have responded to her saying we have it in writing from Thomas Cook that this is confirmed - hopefully we are one of the ones on that date and she just has a reservation under TC rather than our names!

If not we will be well into our second week of our honeymoon before we are married and then our plans to go to Havana for a private honeymoon for a few days will have to be forgotten as we will only have 3 days left in resort before we fly home!!

Anyone else suffered this?smile27.gif

Thanks so much!! Yes I have heard from her!  Sorry didn't get back to you right away.

I didn't have any issues booking with Yaly, but our wedding time isn't peek, so I guess it's slower then!

Hi Crystal, glad you heard back from Yaly and all is sorted

She got back to us and said she did have us booked on 8th April, so all is well - we havent unfortunately been given our 4pm wedding slot that has already gone - so we are to be wed at 2pm. I had thought that 12 months notice would be sufficient, but guess not - we hadnt realised when we booked that April was peak time.

How are your plans coming along?

Well atleast you have your date!!  So that's a great thing.  2pm isn't a bad time anyway.

We're leaving in less then a month now.  Can't believe how fast it has come.  I'm not completely ready yet.  Still a few things left to do.  My daughters flower girl dress hasn't arrived yet. UGH  Should be here by this weekend I'm told.

Pick up my dress next friday from the seamstress.  I know it'll all come together, but I'm getting stressed.  We still have all our reception music to do.  Gotta get our butts in gear!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
