If I've learned anything from this weight loss adventure it's been that a cheat day can actually make you "gain" weight initially but by drinking lots of water and getting back on track right away, you lose the "weight" in just a few days! Try to keep the "illegal" foods to a minimum and make sure to drink TONS of water and you'll be fine.

keep reminding yourself why you REALLY want to do this...

dress...dress...dress....beach...beach...beach... (j/k)

I completely understand! it's like when your friends are coming up for the weekend to visit and you're almost like...don't stay the whole weeked cause I need to eat healthy at some point!! I find it so hard to keep eating healthy when no one around me is watching what they eat. If I turn some high fat food down I get a look or a comment like..why don't you just eat it!

I know you're mom's probably not pushing you to eat junk but company comes with food...it's a part of being a good hostess. Good for you for getting to the gym while she was there! Hang in there and remember to drink lots of water. You can jump back on the wagon tomorrow...first thing!!

As for me...I think I'm losing my motivation. I've lost what is an acceptable amount and now that I'm ok with my weight I need something extra to push me...cause I would LOVE to lose more and get more toned. I like how my dress fits now but I want to look smokin' the whole week in Jamaica on the beach and by the pool...I think maybe I just re-motivated myself just by thinking about being in Jamaica. It's not easy but I'm gonna do my best. I don't want to have any regrets come April...I want to know that I did my best to get in great shape...(thanks for listening to my rambling rants to motivate myself!!)haha

Hey Everyone I am joining in on this one!

I NEED to lose a good 15lbs before the wedding! I work out pretty consistently but dont always eat that great. I HATE running but know as far as cardio goes it is the best for me so last week I started running BLAH!

I just keep telling myself that I have BD pics, wedding dress, wedding pictures and a week of swimsuit wearing coming up, if that is not enough reason for motivation I don't know what is!

Hi everyone, my wedding is April 11, 2009. I am currently 133 and want to lose 10-15 pounds prior to the wedding in order to fit into my dress. I was doing well, and had lost 5 pounds, but I gained them back because I got sick and wanted to eat to feel better.

I am really happy to have found this thread! my current diet is the following:

1. eat 1 pc of toast and coffee in the morning

2. eat salad for lunch (.4 on the scale at the salad bar)

3. eat salad for dinner (and one truffle here and there)

The salad thing can get boring, but I have different kinds of dressings, I switch from romaine to spinach, i add fruit sometimes, and i switch the protein (sometimes shrimp, sometimes chicken, sometimes steak, salmon etc)....

The problem in during weekends when I am socializing more so now with holidays etc. I hope that I can eat less and work out more.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
