I usually workout 5 days a week mixing cardio and weights but lately I have been stuck the scale going down a couple lbs then back up. This week I ate horrible probably the worst in about a year so now I have to really get my but in gear I have my BD shoot at the end of the month.
Jennifer I totally know what you mean! I can focus for a little while and lose a pound or two and then put them right back on. I think now that I'm so sick of doing that, maybe I'll actually push myself below this weight and break the cycle... I WILL BREAK THE CYCLE!!!

6 lbs by Christmas!

I am trying to lose between 10-15lbs. I already have my wedding dress and although it does up, it would look much better with a little bit of weight loss! If I feel like eating junk food, I just look at the dress and think about how much better it will look!

How are things going for everyone this week?

I've had a good diet week and a okay exercise week so far. I belong to a boot camp type gym where we do kickboxing three days per week and then resistance bands of strength training three days a week with Sunday being the off day. I took the summer off and the workouts have been kicking my butt, I guess that's what you get for enjoying sleeping in and not working out every day. There is a diet that goes with the program that I am horrible at following, but as of today, I am still on the bandwagon for the week. Hopefully it pays off and I get off my plateau!

It's been a little while ladies...how are you all doing? Shannon4156 did the weekend do you in again? I didn't have a bad weekend. I took my weight loss buddies advice and kept drinking lots of water. It kinda curbed my snack cravings and kept me feeling full...it worked cause I lost another 1.5 lbs!! Now it's just trying to keep it off.

Keep in touch. If we keep posting here and trying to keep each other accountable we can definately reach our goals. Keep working hard and eating healthy! Just cause you slip up once doesn't mean everything is gone to waste. Just jump right back on track.

Talk soon!!!

I'm aiming for 5 pounds by Christmas...what a time of year to be trying to lose weight! I seriously thought that having a DW alone would be enough to motivate me to lose some weight but apparently not! I feel like I've been putting on weight rather than losing it!

2 major things that my FI and I have done is cut out eating past 9pm and drinking pop (I am so addicted to Pepsi-it's going to be tough).

So this was the week where I was really going to be strict with what I was eating, and working out every day. I was going to start last week, but of course I got food poisoning which screwed up my whole plane. Anyway, I did work out yesterday morning, and this morning... but as far as the food goes, I was so bad last night. I kinda have an excuse though... My cousin and his wife were in a motorcycle accident, and I had to go to the hospital, then back to their apartment to take care of some things for them. The only thing around was a McDonalds... argh! So of course I scarfed down a #2 and now I feel soooo guilty! Today's a new day though.

Congrats Montego! That is encouraging. I drink a ton of water, but as with everything else, I am not as good about it on the weekends as I am when I sit at my desk all day and have it in front of me!

I also had a good weekend. I weighed myself on Saturday morning and I was down 2 lbs.! Doesn't sound like a lot but I have been STUCK forever on the same weight so I was thrilled. It helped me behave myself this weekend.

Great work! Of course 2 lbs is a lot...I lost 1.5 and I'm excited :) 2lbs is a very healthy way of losing weight and keeping it off.

4 more lbs til Christmasfor me!

Keep up the great work ladies (and guys??)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
