Hi y'all! I'm planning a May 09 wedding in Vegas! Picking that as a destination because we want it to be quick, nice, small, but FUN. We expect about 30 people and will marry at the Wynn, followed by a reception at Daniel Boulud, and an informal party. I don't have as much time to plan as a lot of other gals here, but am finding it to be pretty easy with the wealth of information here and on the internet in general, plus the magic of outsourcing (one of the reasons for picking Vegas) a lot of the basic stuff to the hotel. I and my guests are looking for a good time this spring in Vegas, Baby!

Meseh,
I have and it was ok but we only had breakfast there. We went there twice for breakfast during out stay at casear's. The first time we got great service, the second time we waited 20 minutes before our waitress even came over to take our drink order. Its not fancy at all but i know caesar's doesn't have much for mid-price restaurant options. That is why we have choosen to go to Joe's in the Forum shops for our reception. They also have a beautiful private room which may work for you depending on the amount of guests your expecting. If you don't mind walking I know Paris has a beautiful steak house that is reasonably priced ($arnd 50/per plate) and Bally's has a nice italian restaurant that i think is closer to $40 per plate. Hope this helps

I am getting married in September and want the ceremony at the Valley of Fire - I like the photos used on 702wedding.com but they don't have any testimonials from the Valley of Fire weddings, only their chapel. has anyone used this company, the name of the company is also Vegas Weddings I believe? They seem to be on the more expensive side but their photos look fantastic - I would love to hear from anyone who can let me know about their experience! thanks!

Hi everyone. I live in Vegas and at one point we were planning on having our wedding here, but changed our minds after a few months, because we wanted a change of scenery.

Also, please feel free to ask me questions, as we had already done lots of research in the area during our planning process.

We try to make down to the strip every so often, so if you need pics of a location I always have my phone on me, so let me know!

Best of luck with all your planning.

~Susan

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
