Hey Vegas brides! I already had my DW in Mexico last month and am having my legal wedding in Vegas this Saturday! I wish I had found this thread sooner. I wanted to see if any of you Vegas brides had suggestions on cool pictures? Our 30 guests and I are going to drive around the strip after it's official and jump out to take fun pictures. I know Vegas sign, Bellagio fountains etc... but not sure where else.

Any suggestions?

I'm getting married in the Valley of Fire on May 14, 2011. We've booked with Scenic Las Vegas Weddings for the sunset ceremony. I'm trying to find a good not too expensive company to rent a bus from to get the 40 guests out to the VoF, and am also looking for suggestions on a restaurant to have a reception at either on or close to the strip that would be about $25-30 per person. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I'm super stoked for the trip and the wedding. We also plan to take pictures all over the strip after the wedding when we're all dressed up :)

Hi.

I'm getting married October 15th, 2010 @ one of the Chapels (Las Vegas Weddings). It's a little different than I originally planned but I think it's going to be really sweet and alot of fun. Very excited if anyone has any tips on places to eat or things that you just have to do while there please let me know. We're staying at the Vdara and we're eloping so it's going to be a HUGE surprise when we get back.

Hello everyone! :) My name is Sandra.  My fiance and I are getting married June 27, 2011 in Las Vegas and couldn't be more excited about it!! We originally were looking into Hawaii, but decided Vegas would be more ideal for us, our family, and friends.  We cannot wait!  We are having our ceremony at the Heritage Garden through Always & Forever Weddings.  I'm currently in the process of looking up hotel and restaurant information... which can be overwhelming at times! Any advice would be helpful :)

Hi Meseh;

The grounds at the Flamingo are gorgeous - lots of lush vegetation, beautiful pool areas and private gazebos.  The only thing is that there do tend to be a lot of people there milling around looking at all of the animals (yes, there really are flamingos here!) and walking the grounds so you would just have to be ok with people peeking in on your ceremony.

The Flamingo is one of the older properties on the Strip so the inside itself isn't quite as "up-to-date" as Caesar's palace, but the wedding package prices are much less expensive and there are more "extras" thrown in (i.e. 2 night stays, more photography, etc.) with the packages.  There's also a quaint sense of old-Vegas nostalgia with the Flamingo whereas Caesar's Palace is a quintessential glitzy Vegas property so it really just depends on your personal preference.

I'm sure you've already checked out both online but for those Brides that might be reading, here are the links:

We got married in Vegas last year and WE LOVED IT!  Awesome place to tie the knot and all of our guests had a really great time too.

Les

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
