Need some help from some Vegas Residents!

will you be on the strip? most of the hotels have a salon, I doubt they will be reasonably priced on NYE though. Honestly, when I need my makeup done for a event like NYE I go to a MAC store (not a counter at the department store).

I will try to remember where I used to get my hair done, but it will be far away from the strip since I lived close to Summerlin.

typically mac stores just encourage you to buy something, ask ahead of time but I think you just have to spend a certain amount on products. I always wind up getting lip stuff because you will need to reapply though out the night anyway.

Thats a great Idea. I might go to a mac store to get it done! How much do they charge usually?
God, I wish I was good at doing makeup!
Usually MAC requires that you buy $50 worth of make up to get the full make up, but at least you leave there with all of the stuff you will need to touch up. Other places charge more and you leave empty handed. I have had them do my make up at least 4 times and have never been disappointed.

  • 1 month later...

So my wedding is 20 days away now and I still haven't decided what to do for food afterwards. There are only going to be between 4 and 8 (we still don't know) including us. We are both Irish/Scottish and are doing a handfasting Celtic ceremony. We were thinking it would be a lot of fun to go to an Irish pub afterwards. We don't want to go somewhere seedy but more authentic. I found McMulligans (I think that's what it's called) and a few others. Judging by the menu it looks like something more real Irish and less cheesy. Would you have any suggestions about this?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
