My rings are actually worth five digits and I was also very nervous about this. My husband wouldn't even let me SEE my wedding band much less wear it before the wedding. So... I wore my wedding ring the WHOLE time. I never ONCE took it off (p.s. it was NASTY when I got home from all the salt water, chlorine, and sun tan lotion). And then we actually DUCT taped my wedding ring and Shawn's ring to the underside of a drawer in the dresser. Given they could have found it if they would have looked... but I thought it was safer than putting it where everyone would know where it was!

I would suggest getting some insurance and some jewlery cleaner. The salt water, sunscreen, and sand wont hurt them just make them dirty. The safest place for them is on your finger so just go on vacation prepared.
