I would love to get in on this. I am getting married in Feb. 2009. I am way behind in planning and the boudoir pics were way at the end of the list right now but if we can coordinate something soon you can count me in. Keep me updated. I 'll try to get some info on photograhpers.

So, I was looking at hotels that would be awesome for a boudoir session in Chicago... and so I thought I'd share my findings!

In my professional opinion, the Hard Rock Hotel or the Amalfi Hotel in Chicago would be awesome. Both offer contemporary furniture with some super fun twists!!! I looked at the FANCY hotels too... but a lot of the decor looked very elegant. Now, why would that be a bad thing? Technically it's not and you could get some amazing photos... however I think the more clean line modern type stuff makes the focus of the photo on YOU and let's face it... that's what your fiance wants!!! :)

Indeed those places are great! The W is a great idea too W Hotels Chicago: W Chicago - Lakeshore - Hotel Rooms at WHotels.com.com I was considering checking into condo/high rise vacation rentals as well. Some owner's are willing to rent them out for a night - especially during down season.

i'm only a couple hours from chicago too... i would seriously consider getting in on this!! definitely keep me updated on dates. I'm planning an early 2010 wedding- so any time frame would be great for me.

i was planning to get my bd's done in madison- but i would travel as long as there was a group of us, and it wouldn't cost me more than what i was planning on paying here. (which was a lot!) ;D

Oh wow! That W hotel would be awesome!!!! it's actually not too expensive either. I just threw a date out there of the 17th of January and the suites are only around $200. If you get enough ladies together that's very cheap!

A loft would be really cool too actually. Especially one with a more industrial feel.

Aimee, who were you planning on having doing them in Madison?

Hi ladies! I am in NC so obviously not trying to get in on your group session, although it is a wonderful idea.

I just wanted to share that I just booked my BD session (YIKES!!) and I chose to have mine done at a Bed & Breakfast. I love the antique look, plus I only had to pay a fee of $50 to use the room for a few hours, as opposed to having to get a hotel room for a night at $100-$150 or so.

Just an idea! wink.gif

I have not had a chance to call yet, but I will see if I can do it by this weekend. Having a session in January would be perfect for me since I am getting married in Feb. How many ladies do we think we have total that are interested?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
