Chair for Photgpraher?

Recommended Posts

Silly question, but I have to email my WC my head count. When I'm giving her the number for chairs at the ceremony, should I also add a chair for our photographer?

I'm so clueless when it comes to this stuff!

Well I have included my photographer and her husband in my count. I refer to dinner as there break and since it's an outdoor reception it's not like I have a seperate vendor room for dinner. My relationship with my photographer is that she is a guest anyway so maybe that has alot to do with my decision.

Do you intend on serving a different dish to your vendors?

ok guys, thanks! that helps. i figured she'd be moving around a lot, but didn't want to seem rude if it's the norm to have a chair!

JPMO - our photographer is not coming to the reception (as far as I know, she is invited though!). but this is in reference to the ceremony only. i'm renting chairs for the beach wedding.

actually the only vendor that is at the reception will be the WC!

if were talking about receptions not ceremonies thats a little different. at destination wedding receptions i am usually seated with the guests. ive never asked to be - its just what my couples have done. i wouldnt be offended if i were seated somewhere else at all. DWs seem to be more intimate and i form a really close relationship with those couples. i always tell them - you darn well better make sure you like me cause were going to spending a lot of time together wink.gif

Aww. Yeah, I love my photog. She's sweet. I invited her and a guest to the reception, but I'm not sure if she's going to come. She'll be seated with guests if she does though. MY WC is being seated with the guests. I couldn't imagine sending vendors to another room... even if I was having a local wedding, I think I'd seat them with guests!

i actually had a couple who was going to do that! not so i could be there to get great pics but just because they were worried about where we were going to sit! the coordinator found a place for us with the guests and that was ok with the couple. i mean you might be wanting to talk about your wedding night activities and i really dont need to hear THAT!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
