We just booked our honeymoon cruise! We are doing a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival out of Miami. Ports are Cozumel, Belize, Roatan (Honduras) and Grand Cayman. Since the wedding is in Islamorada, we can just drop off our rental car at MIA and then cab it to the port. Easy-peasy! I am so psyched.

Sounds like fun Islamoradabride. Going through everyone's post I feel like I'm going on mini journeys. The overwater bungalows look so sweet. We decided after consulting a travel guide and looking for awesome beaches and good food and not a lot of nightlife, to go with Anguilla. We will put our kids on a plane with my cousin to return home and spend our last night in Key West after the wedding before flying to St. Martin. From there we will take a ferry to Anguilla and stay there for 12 nights. We're going to break up the trip by spending six days at Ku which is on white sand and clear ocean water. Then we are treating ourselves to 6 nights at Cap Juluca which is consider more of a honeymooning resort. In between we're going to eat, eat and do more eating.

They aren't but they do offer packages. YOu really should check it out. It is like a 2 hour flight from Houston. So easy yet remote.
We are going to rent scooters (this is what my friend did) to get back and forth from Playa del Carmen. I am so excited.

I know you were looking for an AI, you should check out Victoria HOuse in Belize or Royal in Playa Del Carmen. Both look amazing.

If you really want to go crazy, check out Rosewood in Rivera Maya, Wowzer

Am I going to see you today

Yamille are you going to happy hour on the 23rd
The Rosewood Mayakoba is insane looking. I was planning on going to happy hour but for some reason I had a different date before classes started for me again. I can't be there on the 23rd cause I have a late class. boo.

Oh everyone's trips sound like so much fun. We decided to stay in Mexico for an extra 5 days and then to Ireland in the Spring. Our plan is to try to have a family starting in August so Ireland is a place I would love to go to with just Kyle.

My dream honeymoon is Bora Bora...so jealous of you NJ Bride.

But we are honeymooning at the Vancouver Olympics. We scored tickets to the Gold Medal Hockey, Gold Medal Snowboarding and Closing Ceremonies. I want to bring a corny "Just Married" sign to bring. Look for it!

Any ideas? Has anyone ever done this?

Or, what other island in Hawaii would you recommend visiting?
