Wow...we just came back from Paris and Flourence. They were great!!! I totally recommend a full week in Paris because there is just so much to see and do. You will have a great time!!! Flourence was cool, but I saw what I wanted to see in the 2 days we were there. None the less, what a stellar vacation!!!!

That sounds fun Ashli :)

Ooooh ultra luxurious! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will be staying 7 or 8 nights (I can't remember! lol) at The Royal Plantation resort in Ocho Rios. Holy MOLY am I excited about this trip!! Talk about the ultimate in luxury. You literally don't need to move a finger while you're there - the butler carries everything for you (like your beach chair, etc.) and then when you need something while lounging on the beach you just wave a flag and they come bring you whatever you want (it's AI which is NICE). They also start your day on the beach off by bringing you fresh Mangosas (Mango juice & Champagne) and fresh fruit! And they have tea time every day since it has sort of a British theme. We got the extra luxurious HM suite with 2 bathrooms - the second one is a spa bathroom with french doors that open onto a breathtaking view of the ocean, and a chaise lounge to chill on, and a spa tub. Aaahhhhh.... oh geez, I can't think about it too much more because it just seems to wonderful to believe!!! We got an AMAZING deal - we would have never been able to afford a trip like this without that (or it would have been like 4 nights instead of 8!). I feel SO incredibly blessed. And I'm really looking forward to this.
So this is the plan - stay 8 nights in PV @ the Marriot and then fly back to Dallas for 1 night, then back on the plane to JA for 8 nights! We'll be home just in time for my birthday so then we can celebrate again... that's gonna be a crazy month of celebrations I tell ya! cheesy.gif
Here's the website: The Royal Plantation
Seriously, go check it out (the website is killer!)! It's just about the most amazing resort I could ever imagine! I read a review on it saying that it made one couple feel like the Four Seasons (in some fancy location) was a Holiday Inn!
There are only like 70 or something rooms too which I love because it's not too secluded - just the right amount of privacy wink.gif
*EDIT* Oh, and you can check out all the awards they've won (including Trip Advisor's 2008 "Best All-Inclusive in the World" & Travel & Leisure Magazine's 2008 "World's Best Service"!) here: Royal Plantation Awards
They're also having an amazing deal right now -
Fly Free, +1 Free Night, + 33% Off!!!!
If you like this resort I'd HIGHLY recommend contacting TA Jennifer - she's been GREAT to work with!!!
Hi Tiffany!
Well, I started out with TA Jennifer (from BDW) and we threw some ideas around and then I just went searching on my own and happened to come across this place and the excellent deal! It is advertised right on their home page :)
We didn't get the free night because that promotion came up after we had already booked, however we did end up getting about 40% off total on our vacation rockon.gif
I would DEFINITELY recommend booking through TA Jennifer (I think you can click on the flashing banner on the top of the screen when her name comes up and that will give her you info...)
Hope that helps!
    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
