Wedding Help Please

Both Dreams and Majestic do beautiful weddings. You have to really look at each resort and see which will fit for you and your guests. Compare packages and see what you're getting from each to get the best value overall. The biggest obvious difference between the 2 is Majestic is still basically brand new. Dreams was just newly refurbished. Not making one better than the other, just a difference.

 

Travel-wise they should both price similarly to each other for your guests. Paradisus will be more which might exclude some guests that you would hope will attend. Just a thought.

I did price Paradisus and out of the budget we were looking at.... it suprises me too..... def cant do Paradisus................

Thanks but Dreams and Majestic fit my budget and guests better.... Glad you had great experiences at Paridisus but that resort was not even in my thoughts.....

Trip advisor is sooo misleading... I wouldn't trust it... For example, I just got back from Mexico, and trip advisor had terrible reviews. Then when we went to booked our last minute trip, the TA said she had been there and it wasn't bad at all.. When we got to this particular hotel we absolutely LOVED it and it turned out to be our best vacation so far to date.... So, I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't really base your decision on anything from trip advisor. BUT GOOD luck,,,, I too am also getting married in DR... Riu Mambo in Puerto plata and have also already been there and LOVED it... 3 huge hotels on one resort and everything from the beach, food & the entertainment rocks....
