I have the Spanx black pencil skirt and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It totally sucks me in but in a comfortable way.

I have the spanx that look like biker shorts (waist to mid-thigh). I only wore them once but I thought they did their job without being uncomortable. I will say though that when I opened them I thought they would be too small and I ordered a size up to be safe! You just have to stretch the heck out of them to get them on.

They definitely work! I tried them on with my wedding dress and they made a HUGE difference! Unfortunately I'm not sure it's going to work because the ones i tried were the "high powered" and they go all the way up to below your chest... um my dress has an open back!

anyway I then ordered some "low-rise" ones but I'm not sure if they're as good - I'll have to let you knwo after my first fitting 9which won't be until late April or eaely May!).

I think they're defintiely worth a try on...

I have one for the tummy. It works well but you can't wear it under anything with a low rise in the front or back. Also I would like it better if it came down a little further. I always find myself tugging at it.

It definitely sucks you in though!

I'm hoping that the corset on my big dress will do all the sucking in I need, hahaha!

I am hoping I don't have to wear anything under either but its a form fitting dress and I want to be as smoothe as possible. My concern is that it will be too high in the back. My dress comes to right where to top of my bra would be, which I won't be wearing.

with a form fitting dress, I would say definetly wear the spanx, I would want to look as smooth as possible too!

I have an A-line dress, so other than my top half, know one will really be able to tell whats going on under the skirt. But I may try them with my dress anyway, just to see if they help.
