Hmmm, I was goign to say more and am blanking...
yeah i know i am impulsive but i had to return them right away if i wanted to get my $ back WHICH i still am not getting it all back, they charge a 20% restocking fee which is f*cking gay if u ask me. i also made sure lauren didnt want them, she said no so..

i am going to see what the florists says and go from there. i already had the clear vases from my sisters shower so i thought i'd use them. i dont want to get another 20 taller vases, kwim? i want to see if i can work with what i have.

I went to florists and she was a great help to me, I love her and wanted to take her home with me ;o)

CP's- she is going to use the clear vases I already have. She is going to put 5 peonies in each and add a few peacock feathers as well, cutting htem down so they aren't so high. She suggested using only 2 deep purple votive holders on each side, and pulling the color in by getting deep purple marbles for bottom of vase. I will also mix in some iridescent ones to make it sparkle. And that is it. I think its just enough.

MY flowers are going to be soft pink peonies (African ones which are huge), ivory calla lilies, and ivory ostrich plums around the collar. If no one has seen these before, they are basically one strand of the ostrich feather, it resembles a tiny tiny boa is all I can think of. It will delicately hang from flowers. I decided to use them verses the peacock feathers for my flowers. I want to just have the BM use peacock feathers.

BM's are getting ivory peonies (smaller ones), a rose color wax flower (basically a filler, the center of them are a dark rose color) and she is going to add some peacock feathers.

Flower girl is going to have small hand held flowers of a certain type of rose (4get the name) that is similar to peony, in a soft rose color with the wax flower as well.

Groomsmen are wearing a small calla and a peacock eye as their boutonniere.

Joe will just have calla.

She is ordering extra of the peonies and wax to decorate my cake ;o) So theres ONE more thing checked off the "To Do" list ;o)

Kinda like this?
This below will be very similar to our hand held flowers and the cp's. Mine in a soft pink and full like this also with the calla's, and BM's in this color but lil smaller. The CP's will be basically a ball of these flowers on the top of the 8" vase I have, with a few peacock feathers, trimmed up. So they will be off the table more. I dont want them to be all long like in the pic above u had posted.

Here is what wax flowers (the fill in's to add some color) look like (without the green pine)-

In this pic, first row, middle pic, if u look close you'll see lil tiny white strands hanging off, that is what the ostrich feathers look like...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
