Also, I would call or email Chandlyn again to get confirmation. Probably email just so you have a paper trail on it - then print & take that email with you as well.
Yuppers...I sure did. I have copies here as well that are going with me. I have an email from Chandlyn on the 24th of Nov saying she has them. Think I need to send another email?
I have printed out almost all of my emails..*lol* my suitcase will be filled with paper instead of clothes..*lol*. I would much rather be safe than sorry...its soo close to departure time :) Quite exciting on days like today ..uck!

I know...its absolutely disgusting!!! I work right off of the 401 & cannot even see anything close to the hwy!! It's so miserable!! Jan. 18th can't come soon enough!!!

And yes, I would send her another email. Just tell her your TA called saying that RIU said they haven't received your docs. Maybe she has to submit them to the resort itself & just hasn't done that yet. It doesn't hurt to send an email. The worst thing that could happen is that your documents are not in order - everything else you can do without...but you need those documents!! I'm sure it's just a miscommunication (or lack of) between the WC & the resort - everything will be fine!!

Thank you ladies! I don't know what I would do without this site...I think I would be a crazy person!

I believe this could just be the TA getting hyped cause she forgot to remind me to do this (I am one step ahead due to this site). My response to her seemed to chill her out.

I think I will email Chandlyn as well as set up my meeting and just have her double confirm everything is cool. That will ease my mind :)

Thanks again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
