Paperwork gone & 3 months left.

HEY! HEY! I joined back in September I'll have you know! hahaaha I've just been reading through alot of the posts and saw that Chandlyn had advised she rec'd the docs....but I'm still gonna bust her chops cuz I'm super impatient. Plus I need to know asap if something is wrong with them so I can get them re-done....although I think they're fine.

 

ps. I'm supposed to have my 1st fitting this week........yahooooooooo!

That is pretty exciting!! I felt it kinda of funny standing up on the pedistal and everyone watching me but then again I am shy!! I am sure you will have a blast. I hope it goes well and you have fun.

Bust her chops forsure ..its better to know now then find out when you get down there!! She's been pretty good for me.

No pedestal for me...I think I'm going alone til my final fitting. I already had a dress but changed me mind....acutally, I had 2 other ones (1 for the ceremony and to wear for the AHR, another to change into for the Jamaica reception so I don't ruin the 1st one). Anyways, I changed my mind on both of them....lol....I hope my mother doesn't kill me! Although, I'm still making use of one of the original ones. Should I be chatting about this on this thread? lol (i'm delirious)

nooooo! haha 3 dresses...but i'm only using 2. i posted the other one in that thread where you can sell stuff. hopefully somebody picks it up so i can recover some of the costs.

Oh you aren't driving me nuts. I am getting super duper excited. I just want it to be January. I think this is the first year where I am not that excited about Christmas. I am not nervous at all. Is anyone else? I feel like I could be forgetting to do something huge. I am one of those anal list people so if it isn't there I will forget to it.

As for this dress fitting business - I HATE IT. I took my dress to a different store than where I bought it and the women are driving me crazy. The seamstress is on vacation until end of December and then they are closed for Christmas. They keep calling and changing my fitting. I am getting pissed off. I am about to go bridzilla on them.

I am excited too...all I think about lately is this wedding. It's almost annoying *lol*. Not nervous at all.

We all actually scrapped christmas. We are doing dinners and get togethers and stuff but no gifts this year which makes it easier. I still have stuff to do for the wedding (lingerie, hair trials, itinerary, pick up the dress, hope to h** that my MOH gets here and fast, nail appt, music and wedding vows) so its still pretty busy. If anyone wants to find us, just look for a bunch of BUBBA KEG's...that is our trademark. We definitely need to meet up for drinks and take a couple pics together to post on here. Maybe even wedding day if we run into each other?

 

Christine - why don't you try a different store to do your alterations. Waiting till Jan is just not gonna do. That would be sending me over the edge. I had troubles too ...when my dress came in it was a tent on me so that upset me a lot as it looked crappy! I would see maybe if you could get things done a bit early to keep your stress level down. I got my fingers cross for you girl

How come you didn't just get it altered where you purchased it? Was it expensive? Looks like you need to have a stern talk with someone at that store..I'd be pretty ticked off too if they kept changing appts on me.

 

ps. My dress hasn't even been started yet...yup, the one that I'm acutally going to wear for my wedding...the 3rd dress so far! Let's hope I don't change my mind yet again, lol! But for some reason I'm not too stressed about it. I have faith in the guy and I know it's gonna turn out great....IT BETTER!
