I would have sent my notorized documents except I got home yesterday with all of the documents and realized I had our passports and drivers license signed! Not our Birth certificates! ahhh....... I've been very forgettful lately!! Anyways now I have to go back there like an idiot and get the birth certificates notorized. Are you sending yours priority or just registered mail? I can't believe how fast it is coming. 11 weeks!

I have an appointment to get my stuff notarized on Friday and then I will send it out. I am getting excited and nervous. I am not nervous for the marriage just the wedding. I am worried about my level excitement as the days count down. I feel like there is stuff to do, but none of the big things which is good. I am glad to hear I am not the only one having a little anxiety. smile41.gif

I am thinking of getting married in Jamaica and I have read that you girls have got you paperwork notarized. Is this done by your lawyer? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I am fairly new to this site and I am trying to read everything but it takes a while. All you need is your passport, birthcertificate, and in my case divorce decree. Is there anything else that is needed

Thanks so much

Chris

Yup long copy birth certificate and passport or drivers license (i did passport). It was a fairly painless process and was done in the same day for me :)

I'm now anxiously waiting for my dress to arrive (beginning of Nov) and working on my cd for the ceremony. After that I just need to do my hair trial but I may do that in Dec.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
