OOT Towel's came in!

Recommended Posts

I ordered Beach Towels for all of my guests to put in the OOT Bags. I bought them from Beach Towels wholesale manufacturer of custom embroidered monogrammed bath towel for corporate events and ordered the 30x60 IMPORTED WHOLESALE BEACH TOWELS BY COTTON FRUIT Velour Terry in Lime Green (1 case of 24) and Carribean Blue (1 case of 24) with opposing color embroidery of Los Cabos, Mexico and our wedding date April, 4 2009. The total cost was $376.35 including $52.74 in shipping costs. They did a great job on communication and they were here within the week.

However, the color on the blue is NOT the color on the website and they are fighting with me about it saying it is my screen. I have looked at them on 6 different computers and they are not even close. The Carribean blue on the website is almost alike a royal blue but more bright than dark, it is a bright vibrant blue. The color I got was periwinkle. NOT HAPPY! My wedding colors are Lime and Bright Peacock blue with aqua. These so do not go!

I also did not realize when I ordered them, how thin they are. They are very flimsy and do not even peek out of my OOT bags as my regular beach towels at home did when I sampled the look. Bummer!

Am I crazy or are the blue's totally off?

I am emailing the manager today as the sales rep said "too bad, not our fault" which made me more mad.

I actually think they look okay from the pics you posted. The color doesn't seem off by much. I was going to order from this company also! Are the towels really that thin? They look all nice and fluffy in the picture. Do they seem cheap looking to you?

The color might be a tiny bit off, but I honestly think they look great! The blue and green look good together and both colors look great in the bag. I would be mad if your blue towel was purple or something like that, but it doesn't look like that is the case. :)

The colour looks pretty close to me, but mind you, seeing it in person is much different. I want to tell you to try not to worry about it, but believe you me, I worry about things like this too with our wedding.

Have you tried talking to the supervisor? Are they refusing to redo them?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
