OMG! Over 100 people for a DW! Congrats!!!!

You could always do 1/2 the tables with those vases and 1/2 with a  different style of centrepiece!

I agree with Tori... With that many tables and all tall centerpieces may be too much on the tables and to carry down with you....?

I was thinking of taking the advice of someone else who said something about instead of teh vases just get the candles and use white dinner plates. Then i can spread the gems on the plate with loose flowers. That way I wouldn't have to worry about carrying anything. I'm just afraid that they won't be enough on the tables and the candles will blow out without the vase around it. If we have it inside this wouldnt be a problem but I wanted to do the private dinner on teh pool deck.

They have those battery operated candles... that may be an option.. We are having about 7 tables and I'm going crazy trying to decide on centerpieces... I couldn't imagine trying to think of centerpieces for 12 + tables

LED candles may work for you if you choose to have a reception outside.  I am thinking of using them!

This website has tons of things on it which can be very helpful. I actually got stuck looking at things the other day for a couple hours just getting ideas and prices.

That's a neat idea! I would do some different sized candles to give some depth to it. A tall, medium, and short on a plate. Then you could put tealights down the table. The battery operated idea is a good one. You can also spread the bouquets out if you want some flowers on the tables. Buy little vases and stick the bouquets in them. Just a thought! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
