Now, here are some pictures of the flowers I made.  I still have to make them into the actual bouquets and get the ribbon for the stems, but you get the idea.  I'm pretty excited about them, but I hope we don'y have any problems transporting them!

Oooohhhh.....difficult decision!! I don't know if you're interested in opinions but I have to express mine. :D As much as I love seashells, I think the birds of paradise bouquet is absolutely fantastic! It looks really vibrant and just gorgeous against the backdrop of a light dress. I don't know what your wedding colors are but my eye is immediately drawn to that birds of paradise bouquet over the seashells. Good luck!

I love this bouquet!  I am torn right now with this decision.  Need to figure out the flowers this weekend!

I have a question for all of you now-married ladies...when presenting your inspiration photos to a florist for your bouquet, do you think less is more?  I have 5 or 6 pictures I could show of similar bouquets (round, hand-tied, mixed flowers all in a variety of pinks), but I'm worried that more options may complicate the issue.

Thank you for the input. I was leaning towards the flowers because birds of paradise were FI's grandma's favorite flower. He was raised by his grandparents, and his Gram died 7 years ago. I wanted to honor her for raising such an incredible man, and I think this will be perfect. I guess I could always make seashell centerpieces. Plus my bridesmaids are carrying parasols, and kinda like the idea of me being the only one with flowers. Birds of paradise bouquet, final answer.

Thanks imadore and brenners!! FH told me he thought I should carry a cala Lilly bouquet. I think he imagined long stem calalillies (oh well) so I hope he likes what I picked!

I think the bird of paradise bouquet is so unique and the colors really pop!  And that is a great way to honor your FI's grandma as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
