Post your bouquet and inspiration pics here

meBonidie2be: the florist shouldn't have trouble getting gems into your bouquet like the picture....they probably aren't glued on though.  They are probably similar to your starfish and you stick them into the rose.  I have seen people just use pins that have a fancy top on them or my friend's florist recently used fancy hair pins to get the same look (you never would guess it was a hair pin they looked great!)  I would talk to your florist, she might even have supplies like that already.

(I haven't price shopped, though, so they may be available for less elsewhere).

oh wow. The starfish are intended to be hairpins. I don't know why i thought the jewels were glued, the pins make so much more sense. I'm glad i asked!!!! Thanks for the link. I think i might have to make some myself if i can't find them in a store. TIME CRUNCH!!!!

I'm making the bouquets, and this is my bridal bouquet so far!  Still a work in progress.... the white "ribbon" is paper in this pic as I need to buy the actual white ribbon from Michael's tomorrow.

I was going to put swav. crystals in some of them, but I don't know if it will be "too much" and take away from the naturalness of the burlap.  Thoughts?

I'm going to cut the bottom so that the stems only show about an inch.  Any ideas on how I can do this?  I'm using wooden stakes for stems.  Home depot wood cutter??? LOL!

Also, anyone done the ribbon criss cross for their own flowers and know how to do it?

SO PUMPED!  I love how it looks so far!!!!  woot.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
