Post your bouquet and inspiration pics here

You have to really be sure to get REAL real touch flowers, silks and other "faux" flowers are just not the same!  I have posted my centrepiece but not on the centre piece thread, prolly one of the canadian threads.  I wanted height so I have opted for 8" hurricane vases that will be filled with sand and shells on the top and in them will be 3.5ft grasses like reeds thats I picked up.  Sounds really strange but I really like the look of it, its very natural and different from traditional flowers or candles.  We are having one long table so height in the centrepiece was important to me while still allowing people to talk around it!

Please excuse if you have posted on that thread, there are so many pages within I wouldn't know where to start! The composite flower is indeed gorgeous, I don't think I have seen one before and definitely looks like a peony to me.  It is so easy to get caught up in all the details that we plan that we lose sight of our original vision or stray away from it... To be able to bounce ideas of eachother, beyond great! This board has been most helpful for that, especially when you have "laid back" fiance's ;)

I love the brightness the Orange adds!

I want my bouquet to look like this...

bouquet of lillies and roses.jpg

Then my MOH would have a smaller version, and I'd like the other girls to have just Tiger Lilies. Do you think that would look stupid??? Just Tiger Lilies in a bunch with maybe some white ribbon? Should I keep the orange ribbon for everyone? Thanks!!! Everyone's flowers look amazing. :)

Jwed - Is the picture from a bride on BDW? I like the bracelet the bride is wearing and want to know where she purchased the bracelet.

@Brendee2005- I love the orange too! My mom was afraid white would blend in with me, but when you add the orange, it really pops!

@JetsettinBride- Ya know....I'm pretty sure it is from a BDW bride's inspiration pics, but I cannot remember what thread I got it from. I don't think it was the wedding of the girl who had the picture. I think she must have downloaded it from somewhere else. Sorry...I'm no help!

I can picture it and it sounds outstanding! Very creative and I love the height of them.  I would think even more so to go with the callas as your centerpieces are simple but elegant (I'm all about flow)  I may have to hunt through the canadian threads to sneak a peak... I can only imagine how many there are though, there are a lot of "you" on here :)

As for real real touch flowers, didn't even know!! Apparently all the sites I've seen haven't been real because they've looked fake to me! I'll definitely have to search some more, just got my quote today for my bouquet at 150/200 CI dollars so 180/240 US dollars... ouch!

The prices KILL ME!!!!!  MY bouquet is included in the wedding packages but I am not sure I can get what I want so I would rather do real touch and be sure.  Plus I don't want to carry real and my girls carry real touch and it be a noticeable difference at least if they are all the same then no one will be able to tell.  I will get the "real" bouquet from the resort and either use it as the toss bouquet or for some other decor......

I will post a picture of my centrepiece in the centrepiece thread! I will be excited to hear what you think of it!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
