Post your bouquet and inspiration pics here

Tori - I love the first picture of the single flower! What type of flower is it?!  Calla Lillies are gorgeous and very simple, elegant and classic.  I wouldn't say they are "over done", true they are used quite a bit but I think it's becuase there isn't another flower that is similar.  In my opinion, everything needs to flow for a wedding, the dress, the decor, the flowers etc...  Calla Lillies would compliment your dress beautifully because they are simple. Personally, I think the peony bouquet below kind of resembles the flower on your dress too closely and the bouquet may get a bit lost.  I hope this isn't too forward, just wanted to give you an honest answer!!  Keep us updated with what you decide!

Thanks soooo much!!!! The first is a "composite flower" they take one flower (usually a rose - not in the picture though) and then take apart others of the same flower and individually wire them together.  I love it but I don't think it would work so well with real touch flowers.......  I may stick with my calla lillies now that I have decided on centrepieces (not using our bouquets as originally planned)  Thanks for the input with regards to the dress!!! It means a lot you remember and will be honest that is exactly what I need.  My dress is not sleek and simple so a sleek and simple flower would prolly be best.  The peonies look as ruffly as the dress lol  Thanks :)

This is gorgeous, but I'm a little confused. Can you post a pic of you holding it? What a neat idea! My dress has feathers too. :)

This picture really doesn't do it justice but I made my bouquet completely out of feathers.  Different types of feathers (goose, ostrich, peacock, rooster) all in shades of ivory.  I also made a matching feather flower for my birdcage veil headpiece that I will be wearing.  My Bridesmaids will be carrying feather bouquets as well in a royal purple with the same birdcage veils and feather flowers in theie hair in the purple as well.

I want my bouquet to look like this...

Then my MOH would have a smaller version, and I'd like the other girls to have just Tiger Lilies. Do you think that would look stupid??? Just Tiger Lilies in a bunch with maybe some white ribbon? Should I keep the orange ribbon for everyone? Thanks!!! Everyone's flowers look amazing. :)

I didn't realize you are using real touch for your bouquet, I think calla's look the most real of any real touch flower (you know there are some that you can tell are"fake").  What are you doing for centerpieces? Please excuse if you have posted on that thread, there are so many pages within I wouldn't know where to start! The composite flower is indeed gorgeous, I don't think I have seen one before and definitely looks like a peony to me.  It is so easy to get caught up in all the details that we plan that we lose sight of our original vision or stray away from it... To be able to bounce ideas of eachother, beyond great! This board has been most helpful for that, especially when you have "laid back" fiance's ;)

I am going to take a trip to our local arboretum and conservatory to get some ideas for bouquets and floral arrangements.  I have looked at so many online I think I need to see some in person to get a better feel for what I like and want.  Wish me luck!

I'm not usually a big fan of white bouquets, but the first and last pictures are stunning!

I love this, it is what i have been looking for, i had found something similar but this is what i had originally wanted, I was planning on doing just a couple of lilies with the long stems for the bridesmaids too, i personally love that look.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
