I know! My FI is sooo patient and doesn't want to look too excited to the seller. He's all calm and cool and I'm ready to go to Home Depot and buy paint for the living room! lol I'm going to have to keep myself very busy.

It's the female nesting urge. I was trying to have contractors come over the day of the home inspection, just because I had keys!

The best piece of advice I can give is to

1) try and pare things down before you move. If you can just take new things (wedding gifts) it's even better!

2) Make a list of everything you would like to do first, big and small projects

3) Do anything you can ahead of time when the place is empty (paint, flooring, remodel, etc

4) This is the most important..Focus on one room at a time

These are all things I had to learn the hard way

We put in our counter offer to their counter offer today. lol My FI told them it was our final offer and not to come back with any counters. We were done making offers. Well, of course they came back with a counter that is 5k more than our last offer and said that they have another offer, but from a buyer that isn't as strong as us. No idea where that buyer came from. So, FI said no. Our last offer is our final offer. We'll see if they change their minds. I do agree with FI that we shouldn't pay more than our last offer. So, if its meant to be it'll be.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
