Tell us everything! When do you close? is there anything that needs to be done.

Oh, and pictures! We want pictures - lots of them!
So, I'm not sure when we close yet. We have to meet with our RE Agent tomorrow to sign some paperwork. We also have to schedule inspections for this coming week and hopefully nothing major is wrong. It does need some work, but really mostly cosmetic stuff. Like the kitchen is YELLOW, yellow appliances, yellow laminate countertop. Everything works, its just ugly. lol There are hardwood floors under the carpet, so we'll take that out. Paint every room. At some point in the future the upstairs bathroom will need to be redone. Its fine, just a little dated. So, we'll have some projects, but my FI is a plumber and a good friend is an electrician so we should be able to to a lot of stuff ourselves. His dad is good friends with a guy who owns a construction company. So, we'll be calling in some favors. lol

The best news about the house is that it has the three things I wanted, that weren't really important, but would've been great bonuses and we got ALL 3! A fireplace in the living room, a one car garage and a pink tree in the yard! Not necessities, but things I love.

Pics coming next...

Ha, they didn't put any pics of the kitchen online because it was soooo ugly! None of the bathroom either. Its teal with dark red accents. Really hot! lol I'll have to take some when I can get in there again.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
