OMG, Jac, I woudl die if I committed myself to making a wedding parties dresses!

This process was basically me stumbling thru each step, so no way would I want to do that to another person. But I am getting a sewing machine for christmas/birthday, so maybe I can eventually be good enough to do something for others.

It definitely felt good to have people compliment the dress. Although, I think the fact that I was wearing yellow in a cloud of black made me stand out more, so that's probably why people were no noticing of my dress.

And thanks, Er! Maybe in 20 years, i can do Project Runway for Leni (Heidi's daugher)!

Hi Carly, the dress looks great! good job! You should be a pro in no time especially with your sisters help. (you should smile, but you know that, remember all your pictures turned out so nice from your wedding because you were smiling - you can do it!) R cheer2.gif

I know, I know. But I really hate posing for pictures. The wedding was actually easier like that cuz they were talking thousands of photos, so I am sure that the majority of them I looked just as miserable. But since I was so happy that day, it was easier to catch me smiling. I always think that when I look back at pictures "i should've relaxed and smiled" but at the time, I am just too uncomfortable to do it!

Oh, and thank, Anny! It means so much to me to have everyone thnk I did a great job!

hi loving the dress you made the colour looks great.I cant for the life of me sew, but just having a look could you just have to much fabric for your girls? could you take some out to make you feel better in it rather than changing it from halterneck.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
