You will find the one that you will feel is "The One" and don't let people around you make you feel like you are any less beautiful!
Thanks everyone for all of your great advice!! That's exactly what I needed. I am going to get back out there and will try some other bridal shops. I think a big part of the problem was that in all of the salons I went to, the salespersons did not really help me with putting on the smaller gowns. When I realized that I was unable to slip it over my hips I didn't even bother with continuing to try. In one place the salesperson kept running off with the clips which did not help. I plan on going to two stores today. I will let you all know how it went.

This is a great idea - I received much better service during the week because they are less busy and therefore much more attentive! Not all girls can do this, but if you can, I highly recommend it!

Sometimes finding the dress is like finding the guy - you have to try on some that just don't work before you fall in love. Ok, that was a little corny, but you know what I'm saying!

I am a street size 8/10 and I couldn't even get some to zip... so the majority cannot get the dresses to zip so don't worry!

And remember that wedding dresses are altered to fit you perfectly. and that is why your wedding dress will look perfect on you! It doesn't start out that way, but the final result is AWESOME!

Good luck and know you are not alone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
