It's durable, costs less, and looks more masculine. I think he's jut Wally's because my band cost a whole lot more lol

My FI got tungsten, which has a really similar look to titanium, but the jewler advised it's a bit more durable. Just a thought.

My FI got Tungsten as well.  He does not wear much jewelry except his watch.  We got it in a white gold brushed finish...if I think of it I will post a pic tonight.  Yes, the jeweler said more durable and less expensive.

I don't think I have posted my engagement ring yet.

I already have the wedding band to go with it- I just haven't been able to take a decent picture of them together yet!

I will post when I do have them together :)

FI doesn't want a wedding band. He says he is going to get a tattoo on his wedding finger instead because he doesn't wear jewellery (which is fine with me), but I think I want to get him at least a plain gold band, for the ceremony at least. It's not like he is going to get the tattoo in Mexico!

As promised, here are pics of my future hubby's Tungsten wedding band...I am excited he got one...last year he was saying he did not wish to wear one, so we have come a long way in a year!  I like how the lips on each side match my e-ring.  woot2.gif

I really like that! It's simple, but so much more than a simple gold band. Very masculine looking, and it compliments your e-ring very nicely!

  • 2 weeks later...

Here's our rings! We don't actually have our wedding bands yet but I took a photo of mine with my engagement ring in the store. It is a full eternity band. Sorry for the blurry iPhone photo!

We ordered his online and it should be arriving within the next few week. The Etsy seller, Naturalezanica, is from Nicaragua and now lives in Kentucky. He goes back to Nicaragua and collects guapinol wood that has fallen to the jungle floor and uses it to make his rings. He also uses recycled sterling silver.

Here's his store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/naturalezanica?ref=seller_info

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
