Maybe a curved band.  I also got a fat pear as my e-ring, and found a curved band to fit it perfectly.  Below is the preview of wedding pics by Sascha Gluck, you can see the curved band.

lol, yes shoes are our weakness!

Prettypigpig - I notice the shoes in the ring shot, but not in any of the wedding photos, were they just for ring glamour shots?

I just got some purple suede miu miu's but haven't worn them out yet!

Thanks Prettypigpig, Your photos capture your wedding and TTD beautifully. The curved band is a great idea and I will look into it. My FI does want the wedding band to be larger in width than my ering. I'm also want a band that will not take away for the bottom detail of the ring. Photobucket Photobucket Thank ladies. This forum is such a huge help.

Lisa you should decide if you want to wear just wedding band sometimes, and if you would would you be ok with funny looking one. Because perfectly fitting wedding band look weird by itself. Also some people get really bothered by ring not fitting perfectly. It is all about what you want and how you want it to fit. I know some girls got two wedding bands. One to wear with ering and one to wear by itself ;)

PS You ring is beautiful and congrats on your engagement. Looks like we have same timeframes for engagement and wedding.

Good luck planning :D

There are just SO many gorgeous rings on here, I can't believe it!!! I'm just gushing on the couch oooohing and ahhhhing over everyone's bling.

Just got engaged about 2 weeks ago and we are in the very early stages of planning our April 2012 wedding to Puerto Vallarta!  Below is my ring- I can't decide on getting the band that matches it and will fit to it, OR just a straight bead set that fits up against it....

Any advice?? Thanks ladies!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
