I don't know how you girls get such clear pictures of your rings! My sister and I tried all weekend to get a good picture of my ring and this is the best we could get. FI went and hand picked the diamonds and design with a designer in town. I had zero say and was completely surprised, I love it. ps my hand looks really creepy b/c I cropped it!

Okay...I'll give this a shot. I feel a little funny posting a picture of my ring, but it's nice to know we have a place were we can be proud and excited about our rings without it being taken as bragging! Here goes! ....

ok, here is my new set and the quick not very exciting story about why I got a totally new set for our wedding day.

 

So my DH proposed with a princess cut diamond, the band was thicker and really cool...well when we went to look for a wedding band we could not find anything that I really liked. while we were out shopping I fell in love with this black diamond! never really thinking anything about it again...DH bought me the black diamond set and never told me until the day before our wedding! so here it is! I love it...so not traditional at all but hey neither are we! I first saw a black diamond on Carmen Electra in a magazine and thought it was cool..

hahaha, you like the rice? I tried to use the tips at the beginning of this thread to help me take the pic...all I could find in my kitchen to put the ring in to hold it up was rice! not too bad!
