I posted my original ring in this section when I first joined and many of you know that my E-Ring was stolen, as well as other stuff, (you can read the story in this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t35037 . Well I totally forgot to post my new one in this thread...oops. So here is a pic of my new one that I got on Valentine's Day...it's not as extravegant (sp?) as my first one but if you read the other thread posts #1 and #67 you will see why I love this one just as much. Sorry it's not a very good pic!

WOW, LADIES!

Such a collection of Bling-tastic Brilliance in one place could put any jewelery boutique to shame....do be careful not to blind innocent bystandards with the glare off of those gorgeous ROCKS!

My FI was terrified to get my ring on his own and hinted that he wouldn't mind a little guidance, so a few product # codes later, he got me the Vintage Art-Deco Engagement ring with a Double Diamond Insert Band that I was so hoping for!

I can't wait until next year to be able to wear the band -- sometimes I am sneaky and try it on with my e-ring when my FI is at work! Naughty, I know, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Congrats to all!

~ Christie :)

My my my....there sure is a lot of sparkle goin on up in here! *puts on sun shades so she can see better* cool.gif

There, now that I can see the keys on my laptop better hehehehehe

I figure that I have to stop lurking and maybe get around to posting my own pics. Here's hoping it works out, even though I had trouble capturing the fire and brilliance of the stones. I guess you guys will get the gist of it....

from the sides you can see the two tone appearance of the 18 KW/Y Gold, and the peek-a-boo diamonds. Then, on the inside is the designer's mark with a little diamond. I believe the ring itself is half carat, and the diamond- which we acquired separately- is about 3cts. It's a radiant, and it's supposed to have a crushed ice appearance, but my camera didn't seem to want to capture that. lol

My FH is not keen on us taking this ring plus my wedding band, which will have diamonds in it as well, down to Mexico, so we have purchased a CZ bridal set for me to wear while I am on any trips. I have pics of that set below as well.

Everything looks wayyyy better in person though. Guess I'm a better med student than I am photographer! LMAO

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
