show us your rings!

I hope this works. You all have such beautiful rings and I do believe the ring is for the man not the women, which is what I love best about the whole e-ring concept. My FI designed my ring and it blew me away. It was more than we had ever looked at and it was beyond my dreams. I was expecting a band w/ a topaz in it. I am so excited to share.

wow you ladies have a lot of beautiful bling! cha-ching! our very simple wedding bands have the words "mo anam cara" on them, which is gaelic for "my soul mate." it's not what i would have pictured for my ring, but my FH actually sent the picture to me out of the blue one day and i was just touched that he'd want something that said i was his soulmate, ya know? (he's not usually the sentimental, lovey-dovey type ... i don't even know what got him looking at rings) we got them off ebay and because of the travel involved with the dw, we actually just got sterling silver and paid $60 for BOTH. later i might get it remade in platinum, but for now frugality was the way to go for us (paying for everything ourselves). i won't be able to wear it with my e-ring, but that's ok. i'll just switch that to the other hand.

i was just so touched that he was even *thinking* about wedding bands and surprised he even had an opinion, to be honest! haha! and "my soul mate"?? how could i say no to that??

he did buy me a platinum engagement ring (but not particularly expensive, i told him i'd kill him if he spent a lot, haha), but i definitely won't be able to wear with that band. i will just move it to my right hand.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
