My FI and I procrastinated for a long time, and with only 4 weeks left to the big day we finally went shopping this weekend and made our purchases : )  I had always told him that for my e-ring I wanted a very simple and classic solitaire, which he obliged.  But, he always said he wanted to get me more "bling". Well, when he went shopping  he was adamant about changing my e-ring setting to something with side stones.  He's prob one of very few guys that would want their girl to get more diamonds, and I'm one of the few that don't want it!  When the shop owner came over and told him he agreed with my choice of keeping it simple and it'd look more classy he relented.  I chose a pave set eternity band at 1.25 ct to go with my 1.6 ct solitaire.  I'm so in love with it I cant stop looking at pics!

Wow that is a gorgeous set! I have a solitaire as well and did not want any diamonds on the side. Those types of e-rings are gorgeous as well, but for my own personal taste, I love the look of a classic solitaire. But I love the idea of the eternity band with it. I am still looking for which wedding band I want to go with. This thread is really helping me see every style that is out there!

Your wedding is so soon! Congrats. Haha I guess I belong in the group of girls who like diamonds everywhere, but this look is equally as stunning. I like that the wedding band is simple, but enhances the solitaire- and that solitaire is one mighty fine rock! I think some women are afraid to get a solitaire or ask for one because they are afraid it will come back too small lol. I know my Fiance would not know the first thing about picking a quality solitaire.

Now that's a ring after my own heart! I love it. I don't see many I like more than my own- because of course everyone thinks theirs is the best- but I absolutely love your ring. Best of both worlds- Classic solitaire but a little bling around the sides. What can I say- I like sparkly things lol Absolutely a stunner. Did you Fiance propose while on vacation? I saw the other pic and it looked like you guys were at a resort! Congrats!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
