I LOVE my ring, but I have a friend who actually exchanged hers because she didn't like it.  I don't think I could have done that, but as long as she's happy!

I had one fleeting moment of "oh man, it's round, not square", but the ring is absolutely beautiful and I wouldnt trade it for anything.  A friend of mine (who did not like her ring at all btw) said it best "It doesn't matter if it's what I wanted or not.  HE chose it for me.  When I look at it, I will think of him and how he loved me so much he bought me this diamond ring."  I thought that said it nicely.

This is beautiful! What kind of wedding band are you considering?  I'm having a hard time with a wedding band because I love my ring how it is and I dont' want to cover up any of the detailing.

Depending on the detailing of the ring, there is nothing to say you HAVE to have a wedding band added on to it. I recently had two different friends who chose to leave the rings as they were instead of covering up the parts they like with a wedding band.

It really is up to you if you need a wedding band or not.

Haha! Exactly what I thought when I saw mine. I love it now though. I think it's like choosing a wedding dress, you have something in your head that you think that you want, but you may end up with something totally different and be thrilled.

I'm thinking of doing some sort of eternity type band on both sides

I agree. People looked at me like I was crazy when I showed them my ring. They even have the nerve to ask me, "is that what you wanted?" like I would be upset with the ring I got!

I think yours is GORGEOUS!!! I love the pink color!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
