Fabulous rings ladies! I love coming back every time to check out everyone's rings. I had to send my wedding band to be custom made because no band would comfortably fit with my E-ring. My band came in and I love it! They're finalizing documents on it, once I get it, I will post a pic. We leave for Mexico in 2 weeks and Fiancé just ordered his wedding band. Should be arriving no later than tomorrow. Nothing like waiting till last minute! Men! LOL

Okay, I am finding choosing a wedding band to be one of the most difficult decisions I have to make!!!! I am torn between a very regular wedding band that is white gold with small round diamonds going around halfway, or something very non-traditional. I am including a picture of the non-traditional ring, but do not have one of the traditional one... you all know what it looks like though, very normal.

Can you please let me know what you think about this non-traditional ring? I feel that it fits a bit better with my ring due to the slight dip, and I do not want to go the custom route as I do want to wear my band on its own. There is a larger gap with the traditional ring as it is straight. I am worried that I will regret the non-traditional ring as it is not truly a 'wedding band'. Let me know what you think! (PS it is hard to match the sapphires perfectly, another possible bonus of going the traditional diamond route)

I absolutely love that ring, and I think it looks amazing with your e-ring!  I think because of the curves it looks like it belongs together, whereas a traditional one might feel like it doesn't fit as well.  I also think it looks great on its own!  The sapphires don't perfectly match but I think they are close enough in color that it won't seem like they are non matching.

I like this non-traditional look! It looks like it goes with your e-ring and looks beautiful on its own as well. Can you get this one in diamonds only? Maybe that way you can eliminate the need to match the sapphires perfectly.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
