omg everyone has such great rings!!! I can't put my ring on here yet, since we're not "officially" engaged yet... but I basically picked out the ring and we're already planning our wedding, so might as well be engaged... ah, details.  rolleyes.gif

I'll post when it's official!

I'm going to make a try and post my first pic on this forum...let's see if it works. Here is my e-ring with the wedding band.

Rings

It looks really gray-ish on this picture (from the jewelry shop's website) but it is very shiny & glittery in real life, and it has beautiful details on the sides :)  Don't have any pics with it on my finger yet.

Thanks so much! I'm so excited to wear it, it's burning a hole in the ring box for sure!! After passing the design to my jeweler I was petrified I was going to hate the final product, or think it was too odd, but I love it! *phew, thank goodness* hahaha

My ring came in the mail today! I don't have a camera, but it looks even better than the pictures. It's delicate and sparkly without being too showy. It's going to be hard not to touch it for over a year!

@Sunstarsmoon and Soontobemrsdow: Thanks! :) That's what I thought when I found it.

@jackie_c: That looks amazing! It's so unique and creative.

Omg a YEAR! I would be sneaking peaks constantly!! It's so nice to have the rings crossed off your checklist of things to do, now you have lots of time to plan other wedding things in between peeking at your sparkly ring!

hope you don't have to wait to long. I had to wait a year after purchasing the engagement ring and wedding bands.  I was getting very impatient lol

I will! He put them within arm's reach of where I usually sit, so I'll probably be checking in on them once awhile... You know, just to see if they're still there. ;) It is great to have them off the list, though - and we only spent a little over half the total ring budget, so we can share that around in other areas. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
