Yes, it's still my date and everything is coming along nicely.  Everything is booked for the ceremony and reception, OOT bags are almost done - just need to be assembled, dress is bought and pre-travel information is ready to go out.  The only remaining open items are wedding bands and the groom's outfit.  cheesy.gif  How's your planning going?

Oh, I'm overjoyed to hear that all is going well with your planning!! How exciting to cross things off the list!!

As for me, all my contents for my OOT bags have been purchased and I'm thinking I will assemble in the DR instead of before hand. However, I do need to make my "survival kit" baggies but I ordered the contents online yesterday so they should be here soon. And I've spent all day today making the passport welcome books but now I'm taking a break because I was about to lose it with power point. LOL. And I still have to figure out what all to put on the pages b/c most of the passport templates are for invites so some of the info is not relevent if your all ready there at the resort. My dress appointment is tomorrow at 11am amd my mom and I have been back and forth online narrowing it down to 5 top choices. I love all of them but I know they will look different on so we'll see tomorrow. But I definitely plan on buying one of them b/c my mom is not able to be with me to buy my dress (a financial sacrifice to be able to be with me at the wedding) so in honor of her I'm definitely getting one of the 5 she picked. So I'm pretty secure that it will be a little less painful than it traditional is to narrow down the choices. My FI and I still have to buy bans but we have narrowed down a few online at Shane Co. sowe just have to go in, try them on, and buy them. I DIY my viel and the glue from the rhinestones is drying as we speak and my sandles for the ceremony came in the mail yesterday. I still have to decide what I am doing for the pre-travel newsletter. I wanted to DIY some "message in a bottle" newsletter since I will only have to make a few but I'm not sure I want to start a big project like that. I think that's it.............

Oh, and yea, I guess the groom needs an outfit too. smile105.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
